The Torre dei Mannelli, was one of the four towers placed to the extremities of the Ponte Vecchio. When the Vasariano Corridor was constructed, in order to connect the Uffizi to Pitti Palace, the towers were pulled down with the exception of the Mannelli's family one, that opposed itself to the command of Cosimo De Medici.
